The Entrepreneurial MD's March newsletter article is devoted to establishing your minor celebrity status in the eyes of your target market.
While this may seem either a huge stretch or an overly big claim, there are many physicians who've been successful in becoming, if not household names, then at least well-known to large numbers of followers. Or to use Seth Godin's terms -- respected and endearing "leaders" of their "tribes".
Look at Dr Oz. Or Dean Ornish. Or Dr Ruth. Some get so famous that just a first name will suffice!
How did they do it? By using several if not many of the techniques I've highlighted for you.
The article describes 10 ways that you, as a contemporary authority, can position yourself to achieve name recognition with your target market.
Since Dr. Phil has already been taken, I guess I'll just have to be content with being Dr Pippa!
